Flash Your Samsung Galaxy S7 with Stock ROM

ROM Flashing Instructions:

    • Download the stock ROM for your phone in the table above (zip files consists of BP, AP, CP, CSC. UMS/HOME)
    • Download Samsung KIES 3 or a Samsung USB driver that works
    • Download (software used to flash your phone with the ROM – Odin_v3.12.3_Patched_SHA256.EXE)
    • Now turn off your device, after completely turn off press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power button until you can see Warning Sign. see simulations below….


    • On Download Mode windows press Volume Up and then connect your device to computer.


    • If Samsung USB Driver already install right on your computer then Odin3 will recognize your device as another COM Port.
    • Next, check the “Auto Reboot” and “F. Reset Time” options in Odin Tool. Note : DO NOT PUT .PIT FILE AND DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TICK REPARTITION.
    • If your ROM is a single .tar.md5 package click on the AP/PDA button and browse to the .tar or .tar.md5file that you extracted in step 1 and select it.
    • If the package has more than one .tar archive then they will be labelled with PDA/Code, Phone/Modem and CSC. Just put them in the corresponding section of Odin like below:

BL = Bootloader

    • Finally press the start button to begin flashing the firmware update on your device.


    • Done, now you can disconnect your device.

You don’t need to perform a hard reset but figured I should include the instructions just in case.


Hard Reset Instructions:

  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Home buttons.
  3. While continuing to hold the Home and Volume Up buttons, press and hold the Power button until “RECOVERY BOOTING” appears in the upper left then release all buttons.
  4. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset.
    Note Utilize the Volume Up/Down buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.
  5. Select Yes.
    Note Utilize the Volume Up/Down buttons to highlight and the Power button to select.
    Note Allow several seconds for the factory data reset to complete.
  6. Select Reboot system now.
    Note Allow several minutes for the reboot process to complete.
    Note To set up the device after the reset has completed, refer to Initial Activation and Setup.
