Android Connect to Microsoft SSTP VPN Free

Android Connect to Microsoft SSTP VPN Free

There is an app available on Adroid called VPN Client Pro which fully supports SSTP VPN and allows you to connect to a Windows Server 2008 - 2019 environment running RRAS. Use the button below to download the apk install file. You may need to click on the reCAPTCHA prior to clicking Download.     Full disclosure: The app is cracked but has been scanned and found to be virus-free. Please make sure to support my site by clicking on an advertisement if you've found this site … [Read more...]

VMWare vSphere 6.7 ESXTOP Output Garbled

VMWare vSphere 6.7 ESXTOP Output Garbled

If your VMWare vSphere 6.x environment command output of esxtop looks like a bunch of garbled gibberish (it's actually CSV format), then you need to change the terminal declaration to xterm but don't ask me why it's configured like this in the first place. The fix for this problem is: TERM=xterm esxtop   Remember that Linux is case-sensitive and therefore this needs to be entered as TERM=xterm and not term=xterm   This is what you and everyone else should … [Read more...]

How To Run RoboCopy Backup in Parallel

How To Run RoboCopy Backup in Parallel

From time to time Windows Admins will surprise you with band-aid and bubble gum scripts, that's entirely expected I think. But then again with just about the same irregular interval with a touch of entropy sprinkled on the electrical-fire cake, someone comes along and actually puts together something that works well, and efficiently. Resource efficiency is entirely under-rated and feels like the subject has been coaxed out of conversational existence by the x86 Wintel side of people, for lack of … [Read more...]

Windows 10 GodMode – The Ultimate Administrator Shortcut

Windows 10 GodMode – The Ultimate Administrator Shortcut

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if the Windows 10 OS somehow had a single folder that contained shortcuts to every single control panel applet setting (God Mode)? I'm 99% sure you have probably never seen this hidden feature nor touched 50% of the settings in there. If there ever was the "Ultimate" shortcut anything, this is definitely the ultimate administrator shortcut. On my Windows 10 build, I have 211 shortcuts for comparison. INFO: Check out the Control Panel Commands List … [Read more...]

Samsung Galaxy S9 G960/G965 Stock ROM Firmware Download

Samsung Galaxy S9 G960/G965 Stock ROM Firmware Download

There could be any number of reasons for needing to flash manufacturer stock OEM firmware on a Samsung Galaxy S9 or S9+. The most common reason for flashing stock firmware is un-rooting the phone in order to get back to the factory settings so that you may receive OTA updates once again; or if you've installed a custom ROM but it fell short of your expectations, in which case you'll likely want to revert back to stock. Whatever your reason for wanting stock firmware, the phone carriers don't … [Read more...]

Output IP Address with ipconfig Findstr Ethernet Adapter

Output IP Address with ipconfig Findstr Ethernet Adapter

How many times have you entered  ipconfig /all at the command line to return a single IP address, then have to strain your eyes sifting through mostly unwanted networking info (subnet mask/gateway/DNS/mac address)? As a sysadmin, after rinsing and repeating this process nearly every day of your waking sysadmin life, this tends to lean towards the monotonous side. What I would like to propose is to declare an environment variable which utilizes native Windows CLI tools which strips out the … [Read more...]
